past

the past flows back from the present. the now is always the creation point. past is created now. if our idea of the past changes, the past is changed. it's a conceptualization made now, a set of interpretations which can be adjusted (as in therapy).

thus "change" can be instantaneous if one so chooses. one chooses to maintain consistency, but is not limited to it except by one's own ideas.
