#100Days
Timeboxing
After a while, writing has taken more relevance in the day. Fulfilling the daily tasks for the #100Days challenge has reached another level of dificulty.
I became slightly pickier about the topics I'd like to write about. I want to achieve a deeper level of discussion, write more, elaborate them further. But this no longer fits the timebox I set for myself in the beggining.
Strategically, I should keep it simple and brief, so I can dedicate time to other tasks as well.
Along with the challenge, taking notes and exploring topics has become a more interesting activity, but it is also inadvertedly hijacking the schedule, which is not that good and also not planned.
I mean, writing is nice, and I'm loving it a lot. But I'm thinking on reducing the chip chat and start tackling more serious topics on my daily posts here.
Sometimes I manage to write some short notes on topics that I find interesting, but then I also summarize them too much, in order to be succint enough to fit the timebox.
There are cases where I finish the first part of the idea, and leave the reader (myself, most of the times, I believe) alone, to develop or dream about it further. Even thought I'd like to explore ideas further, I don't want to use the whole rest of the night on top of a particular topic on a daily basis.
I would really like to have the time to dedicate to it, and totally enjoy this time. I would like to take a big chunk of time to write a lot, and explore and exhaust the ideas and topics. This is great exercise and I love doing it.
But I need to come up with a better plan to apply that, otherwise the rest of the tasks in my life might not take place. I'll put time into prioritizing the things I want most, and then fulfill them one by one.
