Choices
How to make a choice when you're facing more than one of them?
Some people have it clear to themselves what is that they want, some others are not necessarily sure at first, but they can figure it out with little effort.
My focus here is more on those who do not have (or cannot hear) a clear voice calling for the right direction. The ones whose compass is not set or not pointing to their North.
In those cases, how can a person find the best metrics to help her evaluate the situation, the choices, so she can finally make a move?
Not having many choices in such moments gets you moving faster. There is not much to evaluate, no clingings, not particular preferences. It's easy that way. It's a more detached state of mind, where things do not seem to matter much. People pick something and move on.
But it gets harder when you have many choices, with each of them providing you different combinations of good and bad stuff, and when none of those are a clear enough for you to make decision and finally pick something.
I also get paralised by fear of making a wrong move. Choosing something you're not sure about, commiting to the unknown, is usually scary when there's no compass to point us to the direction.
Without a strong will in the heart, I think people cannot really make it through. But when the heart is clear about it, no matter the challenge, you will face it because you found what you were looking for.
So how can we move away from the illusions and uncertainties towards the wishes of our hearts? How do we find our North?
