Day 056

#100Days

The awareness of being here and the spontaneous joy

I was wondering these days about the spontaneous joy that we find while doing things we like.

It occurred to me that the activity is not necessarily the mean with which we get there. It is just a way we allow ourselves to relax and enter that state of flow where we can reconnect to ourselves. And I think that is the magic we make to transform a moment into a magical, transcendental one.

Many are the barriers we face when we are into that path, and I have experienced different states of mind while walking that path. Sometimes we have the energy to accept and allow ourselves to act properly. But sometimes we are not, sometimes we falter, we feel unsure, not confident enough to relax and let ourselves shine and enter that state of flow.

So I want to find a formula that would help us all to achieve that state of mind, with all the necessary energy to let ourselves enter the state of flow, where we can connect to ourselves and be fully in the moment, regardless of the activity we're performing.

That might require some training, but I do not consider that training as a barrier. I see it more like a challenge, a practice, or a tutorial that would enable people to truly perform the achievement.

It is just about understanding the principle of identification. Do you know that principle?

-> We identify with things in this world. "This is me", "this is not me", and that sort of stuff. Yes, the true calls of our spirits do exist, but we are completely free to play any role we choose. Whatever those true calls tell us is not more than a strong recommendation, but we are not bound to it. And once we become aware of that fact, the door to true Freedom appears right in front of us. That is scary as hell to many of us.

Anyway, this is the tutorial step. Take that into account and verify that you too, are not bound to any fate. You are completely free to play any role you like, even though not all roles will fit or make sense.

Pay special attention to the ones that do make sense, because they might limit your choices, or the horizon of possibilities of your human experience.

Second step I think would be to allow ourselves to be. To me it seems that this layer of identification is strong enough to prevent us all from doing so. Relaxing or discarding that layer should allow us to accept ourselves further, enabling the courage to try out something we were cautions (or afraid of) before.

I haven't yet been through all those layers, I'm sharing a piece of my learnings here, and it would be quite interesting to have sparring partners into that journey.
