Syncing with Syncthing
I think I finally found a good solution for my Tiddlywiki syncing problem. If you want to know what Tiddlywiki is, I have to refer you to here for now. I don't want to focus on this amazing tool just right now. Maybe another time. Definitely another time! Right now I want to focus on Syncthing. The problem I need to have my Tiddlywiki Documentation available on all devices. Laptop, Desktop Computer and mobile phone. The first two ones didn't really challenge me, I just synced them via Nextc...

How to save bookmarks
I am still searching and haven't found the perfect solution yet. What is the best way to save interesting websites, articles and other pieces of information from internet for later reference. Well, not always for reference but also for the sake of knowing that it is saved somewhere, even if I will never have the time to read it again. The first and fastest way is to use the browsers own bookmark feature. Every browser has it as a fundamental functionality. It has always been surprising for me, ...

Plotting of Blogging
It's a sunny saturday. I am sitting in my favorite café, enjoying a little bit of alone time with coffee and chocolate muffin. I got forced by my wife to finally take some me time again. I really needed it and so I am thankful for that. It's not one of my strenghts to demand or ask for something. Especially when that means someone else has to cover for me or has extra work. So here I am, mindmaping and plotting how to get started with with doing, what I tried to start over and over again withi...

A new beginning
I am sitting and waiting for my Schnelltest to turn negative. It's become the daily routine before starting work at my desk. So I thought, why not take this opportunity and turn it into a habit and take the five minutes to write this journal. I like the idea of writing on a regular, daily basis. I keep start doing it and then loose the pace. I only have two minutes left now, so I don't expect any big ideas or breakthrough today. But it's a start and maybe tomorrow there will be more to read. ...

Day 2
It´s not in the morning, but nighttime. But at least I am writing, right? We had a wonderful day at the pool. With perfect sunshine, perfect lunch and Pommes for dinner. In Germany no pool day is complete without Pommes. And Ice cream of course! I am sitting here at my messy desk and just can´t get a clear thought or a clear action point. Of course one part has to be the fact that it´s almost midnight and I am super tired after this wonderful day outside. But the other part also clearly is thi...

Another Day 1
I think the biggest challenge is really to find a time slot that always works. The mornings would be great. But then I am tired and first must try to wake up. There is also Always the uncertainty when the little one will wake up and how much time that really gives me. I mean to be honest, it's just easier sitting brain dead there and stare at your phone. I am reading news and don't really know what I am looking for there. There is no really good news these days and most of the time it's more...

Day 2
So I am here and made it to day 2! That's a success. I bought my first Bitcoin today. I started reading about cryptocurrencies and the whole concept of Blockchain, that comes with it, sounds very interesting to me. People say, it's the new revolution of the internet and could change it from a web of information to a web of value. It took some time until I understood what that means, In general it's trying to get away from banks and central institutions managing currencies and value towards a ...

Day 1 - again
I started, then I lost track again. Well, you can't really say I had a roll as I only managed to write on journal entry. But I am back, willing to make it at least until Day 2! Summer is here, people are gathering outside again, I am sitting on my comfortable chair and listening to the washing machine in the bathroom. I am not sure how personal I should get here. I am trying to do a handwritten journal from time to time in the morning. There I can write whatever I think without thinking about p...

Day 1
It is nighttime and I probably should go to sleep. But I read about the 100 Day Writing Challenge and I thought, I should start right away. If you want to start something it makes sense to not postbone it, but to dive right into it. So here I am, writing these lines and trying to let the words flow without interruption. Outside I can hear the people laughing again. It has been a long time quietly outside. The restaurant across the street was closed during the shutdown and no one was sitting ou...
