Taylor Nuttall

Taylor Nuttall is a composer, artist and sound designer. His work is often a hybrid of influences usually incorporating found sounds. Taylor trained as a visual artist including paint, sculpture, photography, installation and digital media. Recently Taylor has been focussed on live improvisation producing ambient electronica and generative sound design.

Envelop4Live

Envelop4Live is a set of tools developed in Max for managing ambisonics within Ableton Live. I have been using these tools within the sound design and composition for the soundscape that I have produced for Constellations of Us. https://envelop.us/page/tools These tools are useful for developing immersive sound with 16 channel ambisonics. Immersive Soundscape

Sitting listening to my immersive soundscape playing through a 6 channel setup 5.1 surround sound. Hopefully I will have developed this enough for a 12 channel set up using a 7.1.4 surround system. Feels very calming, with a gentle waves motion and generative modular sounds sweeping throughout, moving on to a more sombre section evoking whale song and creaking sea ice.
