My Old Fashioned Recipe Book

I enjoy cooking mostly for myself. I'm always aiming for leftovers. I mainly use low-carb ingredients. My two favourite appliances are a stove-top pressure cooker and a smart toaster oven.

Pork, Bitter Melon and Okra Recipe

Background Inspiration for this recipe comes from this Pork, Bitter Melon and Okra Stew (pinakbet). I had to make a few adjustments for low-carb, onions and availability of ingredients: substitute turnip for pumpkin substitute daikon radish for onion substitute Fish Sauce for Bagoong Sauce substitute pork fillet for pork belly If you don't like pork, lamb would work well too. If you don't have a pressure cooker, then simmer stew for 15 minutes rather than 5. Ingredients 1 Bitter Melon -...
